Hearing the future conference and gala dinner

9 July 2023

For 75 years Hearing Australia and the National Acoustic Laboratories have worked with government, universities, commercial and not-for profit organisations to provide world leading research and clinical services to help children and adults with hearing loss.

Over this period, we’ve helped over one and a half million Australians and produced research that has shaped global hearing health care.

To celebrate this milestone, we hosted a special conference and gala dinner in Sydney on Monday, 28 November 2022

The ‘Hearing the Future’ conference was a wonderful opportunity for hearing health care professionals to come together to discuss the key trends and issues in hearing care in Australia and how we can continue to work together to improve the lives of people with hearing loss.

The conference featured presentations from experts on the latest in hearing health care, research and technology. It also included a panel discussion with leading experts on the global challenges and opportunities in hearing health care.
